Congratulations to our 6th grade VC Elite team for
winning the Pasadena Vikings Spring Fling Tournament this weekend. The girls
faced Pasadena 5th/6th grade Black to start the tournament and won 42-12.
The second game of the tournament our girls faced So Cal Wolf Pack, in a very
close and competitive game VC Elite fell to them 24-21 finishing the day
1-1. The girls went into Sunday's Championship game facing a very tough 6th grade Pasadena Green team that they have faced many times before . Our 6th graders played amazing defense and shut down
there normally dominate inside game and grabbed huge defensive and offensive boards. The girls
communicated well, and shot well inside and out and won a very exciting
Championship game with a 34-25 win. Coach Shannon is proud of every single player for contributing
to the teams success this weekend!
