The VC Elite 6th and 8th grade teams traveled to the San Fernando Valley to play in the Viewpoint Tournament last weekend. Both teams shook off a little rust early on and managed to win the championship in each of their divisions. The 6th graders played aggressive man to man defense the entire tournament and came out with wins against Lights Out, Quakes and ABC. The 8th graders recorder victories over SCV Crossover, Hi Def and avenged a loss earlier this season with a win over Threat in the final game. One more week of practice and both teams should be ready for Santa Barbara next weekend.
