The 5th and 7th grade teams traveled to Oxnard this weekend to play in the Swoosh March Spectacular Tournament. The 5th graders won both their games on Saturday by scores of 46 - 6 over TNT and 31 - 11 over the Quakes. That was enough to clinch the championship in their first tournament of the spring season. Not a bad start girls. The 7th graders played in a one day shoot out on Sunday winning games over the Quakes 7th grade team then the Quakes 8th grade team. This team added some new players this Spring and they quickly got into the flow. Should be an exciting spring for both these teams.
