VC Elite traveled to San Diego last weekend to play in the San Diego Sol Christmas Classic. It's the first time we have traveled to San Diego to play in a Sol tournament and we were very impressed with how well the tournament was run and with the quality of the competition. We will go back next year for sure. Our 6th Grade team finished 2nd, losing in the finals to the highly rated GBL gold team. That ended a 27 game winning streak for our team. Congratualtions 6th Grade Elite! You have created a great reputation for yourselves and represented the club proudly. In the 7th Grade Division VC Elite finished with two wins and two losses and finsihed 4th out of eight teams. Their two loses came against two highly rated teams; GBL gold and the Aikanes. And our team did this with only six players. Way to hang in there!

The club will go back to the gym for another week of practice before taking a little time off for the holidays. I am so proud of how hard everyone has worked and how competitive our teams have been.
